Our team of therapists offer support with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationships and life challenges.
All therapists work within a trauma-informed framework and are supported by our Clinical Director an accredited attachment-informed IFS EMDR Therapist.
When you contact the practice, we will match you with the therapist best suited to your need and availability.
Lorraine is an accredited EMDR practitioner with https://www.emdr-europe.org an accredited member of the https://ncps.com registered with the https://www.bacp.co.uk She works with adults, children, adolescents, and couples, specialising in trauma, PTSD, attachment difficulties, and the long-term effects of adverse childhood experiences. She is also adoption trained and experienced in supporting adopted adults, children, and adoptive families.
As Clinical Director, she oversees the clinical work of therapists within the practice and offers specialist therapy where appropriate.

Jenny brings extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and families across all life stages. With specialist training in systemic family therapy from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, she offers a relational, holistic approach to emotional well-being.
Jenny is passionate about helping clients strengthen connections, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges in a supportive, empowering space.

Jane brings a warm, compassionate approach to counselling, supporting clients through bereavement, separation, job loss, and major life transitions. She works with both adults and children aged 10+, creating a safe space to explore emotions and build resilience.
Jane also offers faith-based counselling for those seeking support grounded in Christian values, blending emotional and spiritual care.
Available Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings.
Person-Centred Counsellor

Kate is a person-centred and integrative therapist who works with children, teens, and adults, offering sessions in therapy rooms, online, or outdoors. She supports people through grief, domestic abuse, and neurodiversity, creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space for growth. Kate is a registered BACP member, accredited NCPS member, and Wilderness Therapist, currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision.
Available on Fridays from 8.30am – 1.00pm

Michaela is a warm, skilled counsellor with specialist training in working with children aged 6+, as well as adolescents and adults. She has a particular focus on supporting clients with autism and ADHD, helping them build confidence and develop practical coping strategies.
Using play therapy alongside evidence-based counselling, Michaela creates a relaxed, engaging space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions.

Laura supports adults navigating challenges related to work, health, relationships, and overall well-being. With a calm and practical approach, she helps clients move toward positive change and a more balanced, fulfilling life.
Her sessions offer a supportive space to explore difficulties, build resilience, and regain clarity and confidence.

Jules is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist holding a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Jules specialises in EMDR therapy and is currently working towards her EMDR Europe Accreditation. She works with adults aged 18 and over, offering a focused, evidence-based approach to processing traumatic memories and experiences that may be affecting day-to-day life.
Whether you have experienced a single traumatic event or carry the weight of complex, long-standing trauma, Jules provides a calm, skilled and compassionate space in which to begin that processing work.
Jules sees clients in person at Benfleet Water Tower on Tuesday evenings and Fridays.
Integrative Counsellor

Tricia is a compassionate, integrative counsellor offering online support for grief, bereavement, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. With specialist training from St Francis Hospice and a Diploma in Grief & Bereavement Counselling, she brings warmth and expertise to every session.
She also has experience in addiction support and holds additional certifications in Transactional Analysis and working with anxiety and depression.
Online sessions available Tuesdays to Thursdays.

Claire is a trauma-informed therapist with 25+ years’ experience in the NHS, non-profit, and private practice. Accredited by BACP and EMDRIA (UK & Europe), she is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT, and couples counselling, offering an integrative approach to help adults heal, grow, and build stronger connections.
