Tricia is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Tricia offers face to face and on-line, short or long term therapy for young people, adults and older adults.
Tricia’s belief is that the relationship in therapy is one of the most important first steps to making changes. She is a warm, sensitive, real person with heaps of empathy. She will provide you with a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Her aim is to listen, understand and help you reach your full potential.
Tricia’s counselling approach is integrative, where she brings in several modalities of counselling techniques and theories to meet the needs of each individual client.
What to expect:
Sessions last for 50 minutes and are often weekly. Tricia can offer short or long term therapy, allowing you to explore your difficulties in a safe, warm and respectful environment.
Tricia is happy to work with anything that is causing you distress and whatever you choose to bring to each session.
Tricia has experience in counselling for bereavement, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, low self esteem and addiction, as well as working in secondary schools with students who are struggling with mental health issues.
