Dawn is a BACP Accredited counsellor and a CBT Practitioner with 10 years experience. 

She offers a safe, confidential, friendly and non-judgemental counselling service.  Dawn offers online and telephone counselling, short term and long term face to face work.

Therapy Approach

Dawn works integratively including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, which focuses on how our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes can affect our feelings and behaviours.  Dawn’s work is adjusted for each individual client’s needs.

Some of the issues she works with are anxiety disorders, childhood/family issues, adjustment disorder, bereavement and many trauma focused issues including domestic violence. She has experience in working with clients suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. 

Dawn has worked for MIND within the mental health sector for several years.  She also has extensive experience of working within schools working with children, young adults, parents and teaching staff on their presenting issues, she has also worked with young people who have been excluded from main stream schooling.

As well as working with individuals Dawn also has experience in couples counselling,
