Kate is a person-centred and integrative therapist who believes clients are the experts in their own lives. She works with children, teens, and adults, offering sessions in therapy rooms, online, or outdoors, tailoring her approach to each person’s unique needs.
With experience in schools, hospices, private practice, and outdoor settings, Kate has supported people navigating grief, domestic abuse, and neurodiversity. She has led outdoor neurodiversity groups, facilitated peer support groups for those affected by domestic abuse, and co-facilitates a nine-month nature-based programme for older teens and young adults.
Kate is passionate about the healing power of connection — with others and with nature — and believes that the natural world can provide grounding, perspective, and space to grow. Creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space is central to her work.
She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and an accredited Wilderness Therapist. Kate also holds Level 3 Safeguarding training and is currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision.
